Eat Well | Live Well | Be Well

The everyday choices we make can help us live healthier, happier and more fulfilling lives. The CGO Employee Wellness Newsletter provides monthly resources and education on a variety of topics like nutrition, exercise, emotional health and resilience, prevention and more. Our hope is that this information empowers you and your employees to incorporate sustainable healthy habits for a lifetime of good health and well-being!

April is Move More Month with the American Heart Association and is designed to inspire all of us to live healthier lives by taking small, simple steps each day. We all know that we spend many hours sitting throughout the day as we sit down to eat, sit down in meetings or at a work station, sit while we commute to work and sit down to watch TV with family and friends; through time this sedentary lifestyle can be hazardous to our health. By utilizing the resources below to be active for at least 150 minutes a week, you can become healthier and raise awareness about the benefits of being physically active. While 150 minutes might sound like a lot, it can be broken down to 30 minutes a day for a five-day work week!

To highlight this Health Awareness topic and additional topics, April’s edition features a Live Well, Work Well newsletter, a Wellness calendar, and a variety of tools to move more and sit less throughout the day. Happy Move More Month!
