John graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing. He started in the insurance business on the company side working as an underwriter for the first 6 years of his career. John then moved to the agency side and joined Connor & Gallagher OneSource as a partner in 2003. Along with managing his own book of business, John manages all of the Property and Casualty sales staff. Outside of work John enjoys fishing, playing golf, and spending time with his family. John has been married to his wife Kim for over 25 years and they have 4 wonderful children.
Luke Barnett joined CGO in 2005 and started the Employee Benefits Consulting Practice. Since then he has overseen CGO’s entry into the Retirement Planning, Payroll, and HR Consulting space. He attended and graduated from Wheaton College in 2003. He lives in Wheaton, IL with his wife and four children.
Tom Connor graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Business Administration. He remains an active supporter of the Katie School of Insurance at Illinois State. Tom has 40 years of experience in the Commercial Insurance space. The last 25 years as President of Connor & Gallagher OneSource. Tom’s expertise includes large commercial risk management and placement. He has specific concentrations in loss sensitive workers’ compensation and large property exposures. Tom has been married to his wife Cindy for 44 years and has one son. He loves lake time, golf, traveling and being a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. Most of all he is inspired by watching those he has mentored become industry professionals and leaders in our field.
Dan Gallagher graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1981. He is licensed in property, casualty, life & health insurance in the state of Illinois. Dan has been working in commercial lines business insurance since 1981. In 1997 Tom Connor and Dan started Connor & Gallagher Insurance Services (now called Connor & Gallagher OneSource) and have been fortunate enough to see it grow from the two of us to a staff of over 100 qualified insurance professionals today. In addition to his management responsibilities at Connor & Gallagher OneSource, Dan is still involved in managing his own book of commercial lines Property and Casualty business. He has customers that have had their insurance coverage placed through him going back to the early 1980s. Dan very much appreciates and values these long-term relationships and makes sure that he is always there to serve his customers’ needs. Dan and his wife have been married for over 35 years. They have 5 grown children that they are very proud of. Dan’s family has a summer home in southwest Michigan and they enjoy spending as much time there as they can with family and friends.
Bob Glonek graduated from Illinois State University with a BS in Economics. His insurance designations include CRIS (Construction Risk Insurance Specialist) and CLCS (Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist). After college Bob worked in the steel, paper, dairy distribution and construction industries. He specializes in insuring real estate, construction, private equity/ M&A due diligence, distributors and manufacturers both domestically and internationally. Bob has been married to his wife Laura for over 33 years, and has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Outside of work they enjoy tennis, sailing, traveling and searching for new hidden gem restaurants.
Josh joined CGO in 2016 as the Retirement Practice Leader. He focuses on plan design, service provider selection, fee management, fiduciary oversight and developing employee financial education programs. Josh graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in Economics and earned the designation of Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) from the Center of Fiduciary Studies. Josh is a member of the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), and was recognized as one of NAPA's Young Guns - Top Plan Advisors Under 40 in 2017 and 2019. Josh was selected by the Financial Times as a top 401(k) advisor in 2019 and earned the Certified Plan Fiduciary Adviser (CPFA) designation from NAPA in 2017. He lives in Batavia, IL with his wife Beth and two children, Ben and Noelle.
